It's great to see all these clubs working together to promote our sport and get access to more and more trails.

Are you a member of New England 4 Wheelers, NEWJO, Baystate Jeepers, Deepwoods, Yankee Toys, or Code 3 and want to help but hate sitting in on meetings? The NorthEast Association of 4WD Clubs has several different committees that could always use help in accomplishing our goals.
Want to help secure land for trail development or actually participate in cutting new trails on land with the landowner's consent?
Want to help spread the word of the Association is doing?
Want to help organize and coordinate community activities with youth groups or disabled veterans that never get a chance to see the back country?
We are always looking for help in any of our committees, just let your club delegate know that you'd like to help.

This hopefully has been covered by your club delegats.
The association is made up of committees like the ones Scott listed. These committees have people that repressent them at the BOD meetings. You can be on these committees if you are a member of a assodiation club.
These committee members may never leave their computer. If that is your gig than you could help the public relations committee. If you want to work the phone and computer than you could work on arranging these backcountry tours for vets, dissabled or kids.
If you want to work the "real goal" than land use is the place for you. They do it all from meeting land owners to discuss pottential lands to use to clearing trails on the large parcell they just aquired. These guys spend time in town offices researching maps and acquiring land owner specifics as well as in the woods with shears clearing brush on old trails.
Anyway I just wanted to add to Scott's invite and be sure that you all knew what is involved with joining a committee.
If you have any questions feel free to ask here or your delegat
so they can put you intouch with the committee chairperson to see what they can do with your specific talent.

Okay, stupid question coming up...
Can we publish a list of Club Delegates here? As a reminder to those out there that "...hey, I forgot he was our delegate!" Or, "...why don't we have one? We're not members?"
What ya think? ???

The JonFund voted to join the NE Association. We did that late September.
We would appreciate it if we would hear from someone about what the next steps are. Do we have to fill out a form, send a check, all promise to never say another negative word about Jeeps :D (not that we would), or what?
Will an official representative of the NEA4WDC please contact me so that we can make this final and official. :D
Thanks,
DS

I believe that if you have jumped through "hoops and garters lastly through a hogshead of real fire" then the BOD would need to vote you in. The next meeting is on November 2nd if I'm not mistaken. I will forward your note along to the Association.

I am planning on coming up for the meeting and will be bringing one of our BOD along with me. Our two other BOD will be supporting a charity event we are doing so they regreattably cannot make it.
At least we are taking care of two good causes at once.
I don't know who from NEOW will be there but I am certainly looking forward to the meeting.
Best,
DS
