The sign posted on the Ashford Motel sign is Cushman and Wakefield
cushmann and wakefield
I looked quickly on their site, but there was no listing found for the motel
I guess you could try

So What is the status of this great idea anyway. Any updates would be great.

This idea was brought forth when the NEA4WDC had no land at all to recreate on. As a year or two went by with this, a few parcels were aquired. Today the NEA literally has thousands of acres where permission is granted to them to recreate on.
I learned two valuable lessons with this project:
1) Don't buy the cow when you can get the milk for free.
2) Too many cooks spoil the pot.
Sh!tting or getting off the pot you ask? yea, I knew that already.
That said, I'm starting anew with the NEA land aquisition fund as of 3 minutes ago.
I also have other investment ideas up my sleeve, at some point I'll get some high rollers together with an min buy in of 25K and form an LLC. This would be a private venture, nothing to do with any associations or clubs.
Reason for starting again is simple: Thousands of acres come, but thousands of acres also go. Case and point being Millinocket, Maine, as well as all the other closures we have seen over the years.
