sullivan metals in holyoke mass is the cheapest place for structural mild steel in the western half of the state if youve got a buddy out here or something. you can pay over the phone and someone else can pickup, ive done that before.

the farthest east ive done business with is peterson in worcestor

yarde metals sells "cut offs" and other partial lengths over the internet. The stock varies, but there is always lots to choose from. Free delivery over $100 I think.

Speedy Metals, happy customer of theirs since 2002.

I've bought from them a few times. Best price I could find. Used to be free cuts up until a couple of years ago, not sure if any more. They carry both ferrous and non-ferrous and a nice selection of stainless.

Cheap shipping through UPS for I think anything under 8 foot, or maybe 6 foot lengths which sounds like meets your requirements.

I have some.

You can have it when you bring back the other frame.

I use Haverhill Steel at 81 Hale Street. They'll cut whatever lengths you need.

I use them too. By far the cheapest I've seen and have a ton of stuff.
